Dampak Jangka Panjang dari Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini terhadap Perkembangan Kognitif dan Sosial

Results:

  1. Results indicate that early childhood programs can produce large short-term benefits for children on intelligence quotient (IQ) and sizable long-term effects on school achievement, grade retention, placement in special education, and social adjustment. Not all programs produce these benefits, perhaps because of differences in quality and funding across programs.
  2. Higher quality child care is associated with better cognitive and social development both while children are in child care and during their first few years of school
  3. Early Childhood Care and Education can produce large effects on IQ during the early childhood years and sizable persistent effects on achievement, grade retention, special education, high school graduation, and socialization.
